Obituary for Mary "Pearl" Osbourne (Bishop)

Mary "Pearl"  Osbourne (Bishop)
It is with sadness the family of Mary Pearl Osbourne, of Lunenburg announce her passing on Monday, August 27th, 2012 at the QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax.

Born in English Harbour West, NF, she was a daughter of the late Jim and Elizabeth (Bolt) Bishop.

Pearl’s love of her life was spending time with family and caring for her home. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening and tole painting wooden crafts made by her husband Tom. Pearl also had a tremendous love of animals, especially her cats and dogs.

A faithful member of St. John’s Anglican Church, Lunenburg.

Pearl is survived by her daughters, Annette (Randall) Romkey, Lunenburg; Janice Garrett (Alan Almon), Halifax; Tammy (Kevin) Juteau, Bridgewater; son, William Garrett, (Valerie Pringle), Halifax, grandchildren, Lisa, Daniel, Brandon, Jonathan, Toni and Brittany, great grandchildren, Kyler, Nathan, Anthony, Thomas and Audrina; sisters, Sarah Gould, Halifax; Carrie Harris, Lucy Fizzard, both of N.L. brothers, Bill (Pauline) Bishop, Shelburne; Launce (Jane) Bishop, Halifax and Jim Bishop, Alberta.

She was predeceased by husband Thomas George Osbourne; first husband William Garrett, brother Jack and infant brother Eric.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, 11213, Hwy. # 3, Lunenburg, where a service to celebrate Pearl’s life will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, Rev. Alvin Westgate, officiating.

In lieu of flowers,donations to the family would be appreciated.
