Condolence From: Lisa Blackburn
Condolence: So very sorry to hear of Barry's passing. I first knew of Barry from Lisa Kennedy who spoke so lovingly of the time they spent together. He was the 'fun uncle Barry' and loved to laugh! She had many stories about their time together. Later on, I got to know Barry Parks-radio fan! Always an engaging guest who was a friendly voice on the air. A gentle soul who will be missed. Thinking of Reg, Ann, Lisa and Sabrina.

Condolence: I was introduced to Barry Parks about 25 years ago, by our mutual friend Jill. He was in the LaHave house and we went next door from Jill's so she could say hello. Barry made a lasting impression on me. He had a wonderful voice, and a lively peronality; he was bright, quick, vibrant, funny, and irreverent. I liked him and never forgot this brief meeting. Many years later we became 'friends' on Facebook and I came to know him better through his many posts about life, love, food, family, and humour. He was a caring person who had a lot of inner strength and a beautiful heart. My thoughts are going out to Reg, and the rest of Barry's family at this time. God bless.

Condolence: So sorry for your loss in the Parks family.

My sad feelings go out to Reg, Sherrie, Lenard & all the family.

Barry made a mark on everyone's life that he met, a very unique person. Went to school with him & spent time in the Parks home.

Barry R.I.P. I will always remember the good times & the laughs we had while running around with our school mates.

Barry will be missed by all, BUT there is something I must say & this is not meant to be disrespectful in any way - Get ready heaven here comes Bary Alan Parks. [There will never be a dull moment in heaven after he arrives]

Condolence: To Reg, Shirley and all the family

I really do not know where to begin. I am still in a state of shock as most of us are. Barry you were one terrific guy. Been sitting here rembering the good times we had as kids, skating parties on the river up by your house, hanging out at Judy DeMone's who is also with you up there now. You were always there during my adult years giving me advice, sharing you funny jokes.
There is no one in this world who could ever take your place. I was so happy when I heard you found the love of your life Reg. You both were so lucky to have all the years together that you did.
We were all one big gang the East La Have kids and then we grew up and lost contact with each other until we all reconnected through facebook.
Your love for animals and antigues and people themselves. You had friends from all over the world and made a big impact in everyone's lives.
Shirley you raised the most wonderful son in the world.
Just wished I had stopped in the last time I was down there to see you.
I know "old friend" that you are going to be the center of the universe where you are today and will have everyone up there laughing and loving you the same as you did down here.
You will be always in my heart and I will never forget you.Save a place for allof the gang until we meet again. RIP.
Reg and Shirley your life will never be the same now there will always be that empty spot but you have many happy memories of your years together and should be so proud to have been such an important part of his life. Barry loved you both so much.
Barry rest in peace until we meet again

Condolence: Dear Shirley, Reg, Anne, Sherry & Families. Words cannot express the hurt that is in my heart to hear of Barry`s passing. We first met at Bonny Lea Farm , and have been friends ever since. I hadn`t seen him for a while till he came to Hillside Pines where I worked to visit Mrs. Mossman and Frankie. Then had lost touch after my retirement until I had seen him on FB . The fun begin with Barry , Marg and Carolyn . Barry would send out mail that he knew would get us going and w would fire back. LOL ! A lot of fun. And we will dearly miss this. Take care Mrs. Parks as I know you haven`t been very well lately. Reg, You take care and remember to you all , take a day at a time . This sad time will not pass in a hurry. Take time to grieve and as our thoughts and Prayers will be with you all. Sharing you great Loss. Merrill & Sheila Barkhouse
