Obituary for Spencer Alexander Todd

It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that the family of Spencer Alexander Todd, 12 of Calgary and formerly of Bridgewater, announces his sudden passing on Monday, August 24, 2015 on the shores of Conquerall Bank.

Born in Bridgewater he was the son of Michael and Bev (Weaver) Todd of Calgary.

Spencer was a child who was larger than life and who loved his family deeply. To live, was to enjoy and experience every moment, especially in the great outdoors. There were the adventures of fishing, yard sales with his dad and spending quality time with his best friends, Zachary and Kylinda.

When it came to eating, Spencer loved anything that represented dill pickles, including eating way too much cotton candy and pretzels. He was a student at Ernest Morrow Junior High School in Calgary.

Spencer's life had a radiance about it that touched the lives of all he met and in his passing, family and friends are devastated. Although his time here on earth was way too short - the laughter, joy and love he shared with those who knew him - will last forever.

Spencer is survived by his mom, Bev Todd, Calgary; his dad, Michael (Candace Bouffard), Calgary; sisters, Mary Anne Todd (Nick Armstrong), Natasha Todd (Scott) all of Calgary; brother, Justin (Wendy) Todd,
Conquerall Bank, Michael (Rebecca) Todd, Calgary, maternal grandmother, Barbara Weaver, Middleton, many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Friends are invited to share their memories of Spencer with his family on Wednesday, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, 11213 Hwy. # 3, Lunenburg and where a service to celebrate Spencer’s
life will be held on Thursday at 7:00 p.m., Rev. Mitchell Foley, officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Spencer Todd Rescue Fund
