Mona Marie Nowe, 85, First South, died Tuesday December 8, 2015 at Harbour View Haven Home For Special Care, Lunenburg.

Born in Feltzen South, she was the daughter of the late Captain James Meisner and Phoebe (Mosher) Meisner.

Mona was predeceased by her husband, Fred; sister, Amy; brothers, Lorraine, Bertram and stepmother, Marguerite (Rodriquez) Meisner.

Surviving are her sister, Vivian Hannam, Sidney, B.C.; daughter, Cherene (George) Naugler, Grimm Rd.; son, Lynn (MaryLou) Nowe, Mason’s Beach Rd.; grandsons, Jamie Naugler, Louisiana, USA; Randy Naugler, First South; Jason Nowe, Moncton, N.B. and several nieces and nephews.

No flowers, no visitation, by Mona’s request. Funeral arrangements under the direction of the Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, 11213 Hwy 3, Lunenburg. A graveside committal service will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery, Lunenburg. Rev. Rick Pryce officiating.
