Obituary for Terry Lynn Kaiser

Surrounded by his family, it is with great sadness that the family of Terry Lynn Kaiser, 63, of First South, announces his passing on December 21, 2015 at South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater.

Born in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, he was a son of the late James and Marie (Long) Kaiser.

Terry was a millwright working for Michelin for thirty years until he retired due to illness. He was an avid fisherman and hunter in his spare time. His woodworking skills and helpfulness in repairing cars will be forever remembered. Terry’s strong-willingness, determination and stubbornness saw him thru his illness, and was a source of great inspiration to his family. Family and friends were always important to Terry.

Terry is survived by his loving partner, Fay; daughters, Shelley (Stuart), Chester Basin; Sherrey, Dayspring; step-daughter, Melissa, Wileville and his loving granddaughter, Sidney. He will also be missed by his sisters, Peggy (George) Boudreau, Upper LaHave; Julianne (Mack) Duffus, Halifax and brother, Dwayne (Susan), Lower LaHave as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, 11213 Hwy #3, Lunenburg and from where a memorial service celebrating Terry’s life will be held on Sunday, December 27th, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Rev Curtis MacDonald officiating. Private family interment to follow in First South Cemetery, First South.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Arthritis Society would be appreciated by the family.
