It is with great sadness that the family of Ann Marie Oickle, 51, of Lunenburg, announces her passing on Monday, April 25, 2016 at the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater.

Born in Riverport, she was a daughter of the late Clyde Mossman and Sylvia (Joudrey) Massey.

Ann was a dedicated employee who worked as a custodian at Harbour View Haven Home for Special Care, Lunenburg, for over 35 years. Her faithfulness and love made her the glue that kept her family together and forged such a special and loving bond with her companion Chuck. She will be missed by so many, especially her dog, Bud, whom she loved dearly.

Ann is survived by her companion, Charles “Chuck” Card, Lunenburg; sisters, Debbie, Ontario; JoAnne, Bridgewater; Doreen, Hebb’s Cross; brothers, Gordon (Nancy), Riverport; Robert (Theda), Rose Bay; Raymond, Bridgewater; Laurie, Bridgewater; Carlton, Bridgewater and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her step-father Raymond Massey.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, 11213 Hwy. # 3, Lunenburg, where a memorial service to celebrate Ann’s life will be held Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at 2:00 p.m., Pastor Steven Hiltz officiating. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Lunenburg.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Ann’s memory may be made to SHAID Tree Animal Shelter.
