It is with great sadness that the family of Steven Angus Francis Byers 65, of Edmonton and formerly of Lunenburg announces his passing on May 22, 2016 in Edmonton.

Born in Lunenburg, he was a son of the late Angus and Frances (Bezanson) Byers.

He is survived by his brother, Richard (Bernadette) Byers, Lunenburg, and several nieces.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, 11213, Hwy #3, Lunenburg. A graveside committal service for Steven will be held Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at 11:00 am at Hillcrest Cemetery, Lunenburg, Rev. Rick Pryce officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
