Condolence: I have often said that the Lion Inn was the best restaurant ever in Lunenburg. At least it was the one, by far, that we had the most fun in. That was because Lois was elegant and charming as "front of house" and George's shrimp Pernod remain unsurpassed. I miss you, Lois, one of the nicest people in this town.

Condolence: So sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure of getting to know her a little at the post office. She was a very kind, loveable person. I know she will be missed by so many that have had the pleasure of knowing her.

Condolence: We were so sorry to hear of your Mothers passing, Mindi. We met Lois & George at the Lion Inn, and enjoyed many fine dinners while getting to know them better., and they became our friends. When we last spoke Lois was looking forward to moving into her new apartment. Lois inspired me to take up knitting, and she kindly finished the heels on my socks for me. What a lovely lady, we will miss her.

Condolence: Lois was an amazing lady who cared deeply for her community and the many people she supported through her volunteer activities. She was a kind soul with a huge heart. She was a cherished volunteer with the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia. For over 10 years she helped facilitate the Lunenburg Caregiver Support Group and most recently the group in Bridgewater. She supported many families over the years ensuring they knew they were not alone in their caregiving journey. She will be greatly missed by her friends and colleagues at the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia.

Condolence: Dear Mindi, I met your Mom approx.8yrs. ago. Your Dad & my Mom were at the adult center at the same time.I loved your Dad,he was so sweet! :)What a great program.My Mom has been in HVH for almost 7 yrs. Lois was always their with kindness & compassion. We had lots of talks. I had so much respect for her.
Mindi, she always talked about you with such pride & love.I can't believe she's gone. I will miss her very much!

Condolence: It's a been an honor and a privilege to connect with Lois at our weekly gathering, where she
brought wit and wisdom to us all. Her drum will continue to sing in Circle & she will be deeply missed. Our condolences, Mindi, from the Good Vibrations Drum Circle.

Condolence: I have only had the pleasure of knowing Lois since last fall and my husband's diagnosis. She has been a constant force for good advice and support and I can honestly say that she has left this earthly life having done much good in the world. Rest in peace dear Lois... you have fought the good fight and deserve your reward in heaven. You will be so very missed.

Condolence: Mindi, Your Mom was so proud of you and your accomplishments and the woman you've become. I'll really miss her chats and drop-ins and all her interesting and funny stories. She was a good role model for me and I will always appreciate the encouragement she gave to me. I'm really going to miss the words, "I love you,baby,"as we ended our conversations, as I'm sure you will too. I'm very sad that she's gone but I know she's in a better place. I'm so glad to have known Lois over the past seven years. She was so much fun, even having "come-backs" a couple days before she passed on. She really felt like family. (GOOD family) We were looking forward to being neighbours in the future. Lois' concern since her diagnosis was for you, Mindi and her grieving friends; not wanting to upset those who loved her.
