The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Paul Arbuckle can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Andy Pigott
Condolence: Paul was a classic character who lit up any room and was simply a pleasure to spend time with. He and I made a habit of sharing pizza and spilling beer at the Silver Crown in Toronto in the early 80's when we were starting our careers. Though it had been many years since I last saw Paul, memories of those days stand strong. I feel at a loss. My sympathies to the family.

Condolence: I recall as if it was yesterday Paul coming to the apartment to deliver this revolutionary curling shoe - the Asham red brick. The shoe worked out; but the memory is Paul's pleasant manner.

Condolence: Dear Charlie, Eileen, Kathryn and Heather, I was stunned and deeply saddened to hear of Paul's passing. He was larger than life, one of the kindest and most generous people I have ever known. He was always smiling and good natured, except when he was hungry, as I recall ;-)

I didn't know that Paul was ill, but I took comfort in reading that he was surrounded by family at the end. You are such a loving family, and Paul valued you so much. I can only imagine the hole he leaves for all of you, and pray that you find comfort in many happy memories. I only met Paul's wife and children briefly, but I'm sure his positive impact on them will be a lasting legacy. He has been a great friend to many of us, and will be missed. God bless.

Condolence: I'm completely in shock to hear of Paul's passing. I only learned of it this evening. I met Paul roughly 8 years ago through my work. He always had a big smile on his face and loved to share stories of his family, whom he loved deeply. I will miss hearing those stories. He is greatly missed by all that knew him. God speed, Paul and sending my deepest condolences to the entire family.
