The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Walter Hirtle can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: To the Family
I am a Lunenburger that has fond memories of Walter when he worked at the Foundry. He was such a presence at work.-Always smiling happy and poking fun. We all thought he was a very special man and great to work with.
I will pray for him and his family.

Condolence From: Barbara & Mark Crouse
Condolence: Our deepest sympathy to the family on Walter's passing.
He is now at home and perhaps enjoying walking those hunting trails. Or, he could now be baking up a pie with his own pie crust that he mastered rolling out.
I enjoyed the many conversations and laughter, I feel very blessed to have known Walter.
May your memories of Walter put a smile on your face and in your heart.
