Obituary for Julie Gladys Enslow (Mullins)

It is with deep sadness that the family of Julie Gladys Enslow, 78, of Blue Rocks announces her passing on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at Fishermen’s Memorial Hospital, with her family by her side.

Born in Blue Rocks, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Beulah (Tanner) Mullins.

Julie was a member of St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Blue Rocks.

Mom was a very quiet, warm hearted woman who took loving care of her family, raising her children and looking after the home. Not always content to stay home, in past years she loved a good game of Bingo. She found great pleasure in visiting with both friends and family, many of whom benefited from the wonderful birthday cakes she would bake, even turning her hand to the occasional wedding cake.

Julie is survived by daughter Bonnie (Gary Mossman) Enslow; East LaHave, sons Glenn and Perry of Blue Rocks, grandchildren Trevor (Meaghan Mossman); Sydney and Dylan (Laurie Richardson);Upper LaHave, great-grandson Wyatt, sisters, Theresa Sabean; Blue Rocks and Marilyn Morash; Lunenburg, sister-in-law Catherine Enslow; Blue Rocks, brother-in-law, Morris Enslow; Lunenburg as well as many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Russell, brothers Andrew, Sterling and Arnold as well as step-sister Dorothy Russell.

Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of the Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, 11213, Hwy. # 3, Lunenburg. A Public Graveside Committal Service will be held on Monday at 1:00 p.m. at the Upper Blue Rocks Cemetery, Blue Rocks. The Very Rev. John Wright officiating.
