It is with deep sadness that the family of Maude Rosanna Greek, 91, of Lunenburg and formerly of Blue Rocks announces her passing on Monday, April 10, 2017 at Harbour View Haven Home for Special Care, Lunenburg.

Born in Miller’s Island, she was the daughter of the late James and Florence (Tanner) Miller.

Maude was a faithful member of St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Blue Rocks where she belonged to the church guild and sang in the choir. She was an active supporter of all church and community events where she contributed her delicious baking loyally and dependably.

Her family provided her greatest joy and her most treasured moments were the times spent with her children and grandchildren.

Maude is survived by her daughters, Cheryl (Gary) Tanner, Stonehurst; Glenda (George) Czmola, Winnipeg, MB; son, Loren, Windsor; grandchildren, Mark, Shawn, Craig, Jason and Dustin and five great grandchildren.

She was the last surviving member of her immediate family

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Bernard and granddaughter, Melissa.

Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of the Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, 11213, Hwy. # 3, Lunenburg. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Blue Rocks, The Very Rev. John Wright officiating. Interment will be in Upper Blue Rocks Cemetery, Blue Rocks.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Barnabas Anglican Church or to a charity of your choice.
