Jim, Barb Butler & myself played "Three Pianos' at the Acadia University Winter Carnivals, back in the day-1966,67,68.I still remember Jim as that brilliant, vibrant pianist who did amazing improvisations,& created spellbinding arrangements of familiar songs: secular,religious,movie themes or classical variations. If he had only written them down!He had a quick wit & a robust sense of humour.He will be playing for a new fan base in another, better place. "The song has ended,but the melody lingers on...",Be at peace old friend.
