Just a short note to the family and especially Mrs. Berringer. My mom was the same age as Aubrey and I think made connection to the family through her nursing career. In any case Mr. Berringer offered for my Mom (Isabel) and Dad to get a wild Christmas tree from his property each year. That became a tradition in the family until my Dads death in 1969 but I still remember trudging through the snow in late November each year with my Mom and Dad to get a tree. They werent so awfully perfect trees but going to get them was always fun. Mr. And Mrs. Berringer were always very kind to us. I met Aubrey, I think about a year back at the ice cream and pie sale at Northwest and was delighted to meet Aubrey again. He remembered me) and we had a chat about the Christmas tree harvesting of old. His mind was still very sharp at the time especially for his age. Im sure his Witt and wisdom will be missed by all the family. Condolences to the family. God bless you all.
