Condolence: What wonderful memories I have of visiting Aubrey and Myrtis at the farm. Brenda, your dad always had a twinkle in his eye. And my dad always talked so delightfully of your dad. A pair of sweethearts they were. I am sure they are keeping company wherever they are tonight.

Condolence From: Rev. I van Norton
Condolence: Dear Brenda and Randy, Just a note to extend our condolences to you folks and your family. While we didn't know Mr. and Mrs. Berringer well, we would oftentimes see them, during our tenure at Bridgewater, usually at a restaurant on Sunday. They would have arrived there from church at Northwest. What a nice couple. We always enjoyed chatting with them, and would often remark afterwards that they represented an era when you wore your best for church - for God on Sunday. Brenda, your dad made a good contribution to this life and leaves this world the better for having lived in it. He was a man of faith and has gone on to put on the crown of life. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Ivan & Judy Norton

Condolence: Dear Murray and Brenda: So very sorry to learn of Aubrey's passing. seems only a few days ago( this past June) that Ingrid brought Aubrey up to visit with Beryl, and us at my home. Brother Murray brought Beryl over from the Manor, so we had a great visit, and lunch here. Also really enjoyed the visit last year, when my daughter Daphne and I brought Beryl to visit Myrtis and Aubrey at their home .Our thoughts are with you, and the wonderful memories of the Berringer families. Sincerely, Glen and Murray DeMond

Condolence From: Dr. Mark G. McKim
Condolence: Murray, Brenda and family - It was with very deep sadness that I learned of Aubrey's death. I received Brenda's voicemail but in fact the Acadia Divinity College alumni "grapevine" had reached me first with the news. That in itself says a good deal about how widely Aubrey was known and loved. More than thirty years ago, I stayed with your folks during my student pastorate/supervised field education, and I soon came to realize how fortunate I was for they made a very nervous, shy seminarian warmly welcome and were constant, staunch encouragers. Aubrey was one of the gentlest, kindest people I have ever known and a source of quiet wisdom. He loved his Lord. What joy must have been his, finally, to see Jesus face to face. I grieve - for myself, you, and others who loved him - yet I also rejoice that he is now more alive and joyful than he has ever been. I dearly wish I could be there for the funeral service, but please know you are in my prayers.

Condolence From: Kevin and Heather
Condolence: Murray, Brenda and Families. Our deepest condolences to you at the passing of our dear friend, and patriarch of your family and our church. He was the kindest, gentlest man that we both have ever known. What a joy it was to see him in church last Sunday for our anniversary service. Take heart knowing that he lived a very full life, and he was loved by all that knew him. Now he is with our Lord, and resting peacefully. Take care.

Condolence From: Rev. John E. Boyd
Condolence: Debbie and I offer our sincere sympathy and love to Myrtis and family. Aubrey was a man I looked up to as a Christian and community citizen. He and Myrtis offered us sincere friendship and support which we have always treasured. His sense of humour enlivened many a Sunday for me and we enjoyed a lot of choir fun. May God's peace surround you always and may you find comfort in the victory of life over death through the Christ whom Aubrey served in faith for so many years. We are sorry that we cannot attend the service as we will be in Ontario next week. Know that we are with you in Spirit and prayer.
