Condolence From: Kevin and PeggyVickers
Condolence: Jane and John and family, The Vickers family and the Spindler family shared so many wonderful memories at Big Mush-a-Mush over the years. Elsie and Isabel were good friends, and our families enjoyed being next door at the lake. Kev tells me that Isabel made the very best molasses cookies in the world! He is sure even at the age of six, he could smell them from his doorstep, five houses away, and would brazenly knock on her door and ask for some! That is, if Isabel did not call his house first! He also remembers sharing birthday cakes with your dad whose birthday was one day before Kev's in June. Isabel was a familiar face to me when I would visit HVH. She may not have remembered me immediately, but was always happy to see me. Her smile was so welcoming. We hope you will share many memories with friends, neighbours and family tomorrow. We are sorry that we cannot be there. Hugs, Peggy and Kev

Condolence From: Marcia Powers-Dunlop
Condolence: Hi Jane and John, Pat and I want you to know w are thinking of you at this sad time. We have such great memories of your Mom: going up and down the hill to each others houses, listening to our Moms gossiping over coffee or at bridge club, having your Mom test us for Girl Guide badges and of course the Boxing Day parties...we always wondered how Santa knew to leave different games at different houses. Hope they had a fantastic Boxing Day party to welcome your mom to heaven! With love and sincere sympathy, Pat (she made me sign her name) and Marcia PS I had trouble posting this so you may receive it several times!
