Sweet Memories
I first met your Mom and Dad at Hillside Pines when your Dad moved there. Immideately we became friends. We had many discussions about their lives in England, the sheep dogs they loved so much and their adventures in life. A couple of years ago your Mom joined the ladies group from The Salvation Army for our Remembrance Day program. She talked about her experiences during the war and made an impact on our understanding of how life was at that time. My most precious memories are of our discussions on our shared faith in Christ. She was a woman of great faith, generous and loving. Her compassion and love for the elders of Hillside Pines demonstrated that love as did her generous gift of a tv for the living room. She gladly took on decorating the fireplace there for Christmas, realizing that this family was also hers and your Dad's. I shall miss them and shall continue to be praying for all of you.
