It is with great sadness that the family of Robert “Earl” Collins of Front Centre, announces his passing on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at the South Shore Regional Hospital Bridgewater.

Born in Parrsboro, he was the son of the late Robert and Eileen (Henwood) Collins.

Earl worked for 33 years as a heavy equipment operator and foreman with South Shore Ready Mix and after retirement could always be found lending a helping hand and delivering pizzas at Mike’s Kwik Way in Centre.

He is survived by his companion, Patricia Tanner, Northwest and her son Chris; daughters, Patricia Tower, Edmonton and Roxanne Mossman Collins (Derrick Feindel, Front Centre; step-daughters, Kathy Follett-Lloyd (George), Tantallon; Debbie Follett, Bridgewater and Lisa Swinamer, (Richard), Rhodes Corner, 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

He was predeceased by his wife, Margaret Follett, brother, Merton Dale Collins.

A Service to celebrate Earl’s life will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 29, 2017 at the Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, 11213 Hwy. # 3, Lunenburg.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Family.
