It is with great sadness that the family of Pauline Marjorie Kariler, 87, of Lower Rose Bay, announces her passing on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater.

Born in Blockhouse, N.S. on October 15, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Richard Zinck and Hattie (Schnare).

A member of Grace Lutheran Church, First South, Pauline was a kind and generous person. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved her family and the time she spent with them. The last few years her little great-grandsons Wyatt and Gavin were the love of her life.

Pauline is survived by her sons, David (Robin), Vancouver and Jaan (Heather), Lower Rose Bay; grandsons, Marc (Sandy), Florida, Shaun (Melanie), Lower Rose Bay and Michael, Bakers Settlement; granddaughter Emma (Marc), Vancouver; great-grandsons Wyatt and Gavin

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Vaino and several brothers and sisters.

Cremation has taken place and funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, 11213 Hwy. #3, Lunenburg. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 18 at 11:00 a.m. at Harbour View Cemetery, Lower Rose Bay. Rev. Rick Pryce officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Harbour View Cemetery or Grace Lutheran Church, First South.
