Condolence: My condolences to the family of Maria. I had the good fortune to know Maria through LaHave Manor board. She was an excellent chair at times funny, resolute and VERY compassionate for the residents well being. A heart of gold for sure! She will be missed.

I was so very sorry to hear of Maria's passing. This is indeed a very sad time for all of you.

I think of Maria fondly recalling all the words of wisdom she shared with me when I was a young mother and novice gardener. I remember her with great respect.

Please know I am thinking of you all and regret very much I was not able to attend the celebration of her life.

Condolence: Dear Casey, Marc, Nicolette, Derrick and families,

My heartfelt condolences to you all on the loss of Maria. She was a wonderful woman who touched the lives of many. Though I have not seen Maria for many years, I have many fond memories of my visits to Kingsburg. I'll always remember her warm hospitality, her beautiful flower gardens, her patience for teaching me "a little bit of dutch" and her bubbly laughter. My hope for you is that the love she had for all of you and the many wonderful memories you shared will be a source of comfort and peace in the days ahead.

With love,
Karen

Casey and family:
Thinking of you all at this very difficult and tender time. When I first moved to Riverport in 1994 Maria was one of the first people I met. She was very active in her community, church and wider area. She had a great passion for everything she was involved in and I always enjoyed being in her presence. There were many U.C.W. Christmas parties at her home which was decorated up so beautifully and with the added attraction of lit candles all around. The programs she put on for meetings were always a pleasure to take part in. I loved to hear her laugh. The last number of years have been difficult for her and now she is set free from her struggles. The God of peace has given her a final healing. May your memories and deep love for her also begin the journey to your healing until you meet again. In Christian love, Vivian Moores
