Condolence: I had the pleasure of working with Steve for many years. He always was willing to help fixing things around the office and was always our go to guy for that reason. When he retired I missed his smile. We had been in contact over the last year as we were both dealing with cancer. I was so surprised to hear that he had passed, as we had not talked for a few months and I did not know he was so ill. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Condolence: I was so saddened to hear of Steve's passing. I met him when I first started working at the Courthouse in 1985. He reminded me of Magnum PI. He was always friendly, approachable and funny as all get out. He was the one that kept me out of trouble when I decided to add green food coloring to the water for court on St. Pat's day. When I bought my first kayak five years ago he helped me get started, and had plans to do a couple day trips with me once he retired. Sadly it never happened. We were so lucky to have Steve in our lives. His death has left a hole in his work family's heart. I hope the fond memories that I have, and I'm sure many others have, help ease your sorrow.
