I had the great pleasure of working with Steve on a few initiatives during my tenure at court services head office; and he was by far the most thoughtful, diligent and kind person on the whole executive team. Condolence: Our sincere condolences to Steve’s family. He was a great friend with such a generous spirit. We will miss him every day but we were fortunate to have spent quality time with him in recent months reconnecting. He spoke about his family with such love and affection, his work of which he was proud, and his many interests which kept him fulfilled after retirement. We will miss your great stories and our fun dinners together. Rest assured you will be fondly remembered by all who knew you.

Condolence: I had the pleasure of working with Steve for many years. He always was willing to help fixing things around the office and was always our go to guy for that reason. When he retired I missed his smile. We had been in contact over the last year as we were both dealing with cancer. I was so surprised to hear that he had passed, as we had not talked for a few months and I did not know he was so ill. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Remember the good times as they will help you through this difficult time.

Condolence: I was so saddened to hear of Steve's passing. I met him when I first started working at the Courthouse in 1985. He reminded me of Magnum PI. He was always friendly, approachable and funny as all get out. He was the one that kept me out of trouble when I decided to add green food coloring to the water for court on St. Pat's day. When I bought my first kayak five years ago he helped me get started, and had plans to do a couple day trips with me once he retired. Sadly it never happened. We were so lucky to have Steve in our lives. His death has left a hole in his work family's heart. I hope the fond memories that I have, and I'm sure many others have, help ease your sorrow. Rest in peace Steve.
