With heavy hearts, the family of Elisabeth Piecha announce her passing on Monday, March 19, 2018 in Bridgetown, NS.

Born in Krefeld, Germany, she was a daughter of the late Karl and Maria Hallmann.

She as predeceased by her loving husband Georg in 1988, her brothers; Franz, Ottawa, Karl, Peter, Joseph, Frederic; sisters, Maria, Johanna and Augusta, all of Germany.

She is survived by her son Wolfgang (Patricia) Piecha; grandsons, Christopher (Cathy) Piecha, Jason (Nikki) Piecha; daughter, Renate (Bruce) Whitley; granddaughters, Alanna (John), Carrie (Mike); great-grandchildren, Cyan Piecha, Max, Laura, Maya; sister, Magda (Bill) Davey.

Elizabeth loved to travel, visiting family in Germany often, and took many tours with her bowling team. She loved to sing and was a member of her church choir in White Rock.

Interment will be in the Garden of Gethsemane Cemetery in Surrey, BC, with her late husband Georg. Memorial donations in her name may be made to a charity of your choice.
