Obituary for Everett Leo Zinck

It is with great sadness that the family of Everett Leo Zinck, 81, of Bridgewater and formerly of Rose Bay, announces his passing on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Ryan Hall, Bridgewater.

Born in Blue Rocks, he was the son of the late Leo and Margaret (Richardson) Zinck.

Everett worked all of his working life as a scallop fisherman out of Riverport and he was a member of Trinity United Church Rose Bay. The last many years he resided at Mahone Nursing Home and then later at Ryan Hall. The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff at Mahone Nursing Home and Ryan Hall for their wonderful care of Everett during these past many years

Everett is survived by his wife, Judy, daughters, Wendy (Kurt) Jackson, Novato, California, Wanda Zinck (Brian Wheeler), Upper Northfield, Patricia Zinck (Kevin Ernst), Northfield Rd., grandchildren, Cody and Tyler Ernst and Brianna Jackson; sister, Linda (Tommie) Lohnes, Garden Lots; a brother, Alvin Zinck, Digby; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by brothers, Burnley and Philip.

Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of the Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, 11213 Hwy. # 3, Lunenburg. A private graveside and committal service for family will be held at a late date at Harbour View Cemetery, Lower Rose Bay.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to SHAID Tree Animal Shelter or to a charity of your choice.
