It is with great sadness that the family of Judith Ann Baron, 58, of Bridgewater, announces her passing on Monday, June 4, 2018 at Fishermen’s Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg.

Born in Lunenburg, she was the daughter of the late Grover and Goldie (Hacquoil) Watson.

Judy was a tenacious person, able to see things thru to completion. She was always willing to lend a hand whenever and wherever needed. Judy kept busy working with various companies in the area and up until recently was a building caretaker until her illness forced her to retire. One of her fondest memories was as an “extra” with a speaking role in the movie Scarlett Letter with actress Demi Moore, with whom she became somewhat close to during that time. She was most proud of her extended family which included each of her nephews, being especially close with Jonathan.

Judy is survived by her sisters, Mary Ann (David Winters) Morris, Lunenburg, Susan (Richard) Pelley, Bridgewater; brother, Danny Watson, First South; step-brothers, Billy (Martine) Hacquoil, Tantallon, Brian (Erin) Hacquoil, Saskatchewan, nephews, David Morris, Dale (Lisa) Morris, Jonathan (Andrea) Pelley and great-nephew, Morgan.

Besides her parents, she was pre-deceased by her brother David in infancy.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, 11213 Hwy #3, Lunenburg. A graveside memorial service will be held at a later date in Clearland Cemetery, Clearland.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the SHAID Tree Animal Shelter, Salvation Army or the Lunenburg County Food Bank.
