Maryanne Alice   Slauenwhite
It is with great sadness that the family of Maryanne Alice Slauenwhite, 61, of Middlewood, announces her passing suddenly on Friday, September 7, 2018 at home.

Born in Lunenburg, she was the daughter of the late Lester and Dorothy (Carver- Slauenwhite) Rafuse.

Maryanne enjoyed the simple pleasures of life and her greatest times were those spent in her home with her family and especially moments with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Maryanne is survived by her daughter, Wanda Slauenwhite of Middlewood; sons, Gary (Sarah) Slauenwhite, Middlewood and Michael (Tanya) Slauenwhite, Broad Cove; grandchildren, Justin, Holly, Darren, Nathaniel, Christopher, Ishaq, Zachary, Alexzandria and 2 great grandchildren, sisters, Joanne (Eric) Naugler, Hebb’s Cross; Diane Nowe, Liverpool; brothers, Buddy (Sharon) Rafuse, Ponhook; Philip (Nancy) Rafuse, Hebb’s Cross; Todd Rafuse, Middlewood; Jacob (Steven) Rafuse, Halifac, and several nieces and nephews and her adored furry friends, Milo and Gus.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Gary and step-father Warren Slauenwhite.

Friends are invited to share their memories of Maryanne with her family during visitation on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, 11213 Hwy. # 3, Lunenburg. Funeral Service to celebrate Maryanne’s life will be held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church, Rose Bay, Rev. Willis Ott, officiating. Interment will be in the Middlewood Emmanuel Tabernacle Cemetery, Middlewood.

In lieu of Flowers memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Lodge that Gives.
