I always enjoyed talking with her when we would meet. I know her journey with cancer these past few years has been difficult but her "determined will" to live life and be here with her family for as long as possible was evident daily. Losing a parent is one of the deepest experiences of grief (losing my own dad just 5 days before your mom) and I pray that the treasured memories you have of your life together will bring strength and comfort in the days and weeks ahead. I also pray that the gift she leaves of her Christian faith will comfort you - knowing that God has given her final healing and that her spirit is forever in His eternal care and presence.
