Robert James  Wilneff
It is with great sadness that the family of Robert James Wilneff, 87,of Oakhill announces his passing on Sunday, October 7, 2018 at South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater.

Born in Garden Lots, he was a son of the late Venice and Aletha (Conrad) Wilneff.

Robert began his working career as a scallop fisherman, later he went on to work for National Sea as a tug boat skipper. Over the years he enjoyed times spent with family and friends at the cottage he built in Beavertail Basin in Buckfield. Robert was a quiet, hardworking man with a quiet way and a gentle heart.

Robert is survived by a grandson, Robert Wilneff, Lunenburg; nephew, David (Patti White) Corkum, Wileville; niece, Peggy (Philip) Slade, grand-niece Jessie Slade as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by son, Richard, and his brother, George.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, 11213 Hwy. #3, Lunenburg, and from where a memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at 2:00 p.m.,. Rev. Suk Ho (Matthew) Lee officiating. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Lunenburg.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada. would be appreciated by the family.
