Obituary for Shirley Bernice Nowe
Shirley Bernice Nowe, 83 of Lunenburg passed away on Sunday, November 25, 2012 at Harbour View haven Home for Special Care, Lunenburg.
Born in First South, she was the daughter of the late Stuart and Evelyn (Haughn) Nowe. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Shirley worked for 48 years with National Sea Products in Lunenburg and was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, First South.
She was predeceased by her brother Gerald and sisters, Ruth and Barbara.
Friends are invited to a graveside service on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. in Sunny Valley Cemetery, First South. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, 11213 Hwy #3, Lunenburg. Rev. Vivian S. Roberts officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Grace Lutheran Church, Fishermen’s memorial Hospital, or a charity of your choice.
