Dear Ron, Thinking of you and the loss of your beloved Bernadette. This must be a very difficult time for you and a tremendous emptiness. Your love for Bernadette was so evident to all of us in the way you cared for her during her illness. Please know we are here for you Ron. Sincerely, Pat & Dennis

Jerry and I are sorry that we can’t be there with you in person, but want you to know that you are in our thoughts. At the time of Bernadette’s passing, we were at an outdoor jazz concert looking out at the sunset over the Potomac River. They had just announced that at the end of the next set they would be lighting and sending off paper sky lanterns to commemorate 9-11 and in remembrance of loved ones, friends, and family who were no longer with us. It was a truly beautiful ceremony, something that Bernadette would have loved. Little did we know at the time that one of those lanterns was for her. She will be sorely missed by so many, but also so fondly remembered.

We were both saddened to hear of Bernadette's passing. Although we didn't know her well , our memories from the Seafood Festival are ones of great admiration. It is a difficult time and may the memories of the good times in the past get you through these difficult times.
