Memories of Aunt Doris
I have fond memories of my Aunt Doris from when my sister Ruth and I and mom and dad (Eloise and Ingar) visited Nova Scotia when we were children. Doris would take Ruth and I out on her days off for drives around the area and to visit the sites. It was our special time with her.
My funniest memories during that time was of her always getting after uncle John for bringing in half the barn every time he came into the house. She did so try to keep things clean and nice looking. It didn't seem to bother him at all, much to her chagrin.
She was indeed a very special lady. My condolences to all my relatives in N.S. who had the opportunity to know her much more than I.
