Bernice Hilma Pauline Veinotte (Shauffenburg), 94, formerly of Lunenburg, passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at Hospice Cornwall, Ontario.
Born in Front Centre, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Edna (Nowe) Shauffenburg.
Loving mother of Reginald Anderson (Patricia) of Morrisburg ON.; step-daughter Sandra Hebb (Mike) of Halifax; daughter-in-law, Susan Anderson, Oshawa, ON; proud grandmother of Patrick, Sabina, Megan and Erin; step-grandmother of Sarah and Jared; great-grandmother of twelve. Special Aunt to Mervyn (Joanne) Shauffenburg.
Bernice was predeceased by her husbands, Borden Anderson and Stewart Veinotte, son Karl, infant son Patrick and brother Melburne.
A celebration of Bernice’s life will be held Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, 11213, Hwy 3, Lunenburg, Archdeacon Michael Mitchell, officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery, Lunenburg.
