David was the very best colleague one could have. He gave his heart and soul to the School of Interior Design and his passion as an educator never abated. He was always ready to talk shop and cared for his students in a way that was an example for all of us. He and I" grew up together" at the school: he was the one who turned it from just a place to work to a second home for all of us. Somehow one thought he would always be there... but my memories are plentiful. " No you can't take that away from me..." as the song goes.
