I would like to express my deepest sympathy to David's family upon hearing of his recent passing. I am a former student of David's, having graduated from Ryerson's Interior Design program in 1981. I fondly recall David's kind, caring, gentle manner and great sense of humour. My most memorable time spent in his company was during a school trip to England where he toured the students around his old stomping grounds and former art school. I feel very privileged to have had David as a teacher. His passion for art and design was an inspiration to me that I will cherish always.
