Uncle Cliffie will always be remembered by us for his caring, love, laughter and smiles. Every time my daughters, now 26 and 20, and Kurt and I went to visit in Blue Rocks, we were greeted with all those traits of his. He always took interest in our lives and we took interest in theirs. This was ever since I first met him, and it continued with my daughters. As small children, they loved him so much, his fun and hugs. To the end, we always felt the same. Even when Kurt and I visited him at the Home, he showed us this love and laughter. He made me laugh so much as I held his hands and he held mine tightly. He smiled and made us smile with his chuckle. It was hard to leave. Uncle Cliffie, I want you to know that as my daughters visited you at the hospital before you left for heaven, we constantly talked about memories with you at your house and how we felt your love and enjoyed you so much. We said to each other that every visit began with a smile and a tremendous big squeeze hug from you, and when we left, it ended the same way! I know heaven has another wonderful caring angel. Make the other angels smile and laugh like on earth. We will miss you. Rest in peace. Love you forever. xoxo
