Dear Loretta and family, So sorry for your loss. I had only met Basil a few times and he was always so nice but my late husband Wendell had met him many times over the years (generally with Joey - a few stories there)and thought the world of him.I had planned to go to the funeral but woke up very sick yesterday and was unable to go anywhere but please know that I was thinking of all of you and Loretta it was such a pleasant surprise when I discovered you at Shoreham Village this summer - it was so nice to see you.
