Helping hand
I remember as a young teenager helping dad shovel the driveway when we lived in lunenburg. It was a big nor'easter and over three feet of snow at the end of the driveway. I seen us getting closer and thinking good, we're almost done.
When I turned to go back to the house dad walked up to the neighbours driveway and said, we're not done yet.
That was his way. Guess that's the mindset you get when you grow up in a small outport where everyone depends on each other. Learned lots of good life lessons from this gentle giant. Boots to big to fill.
