I worked for several years with Ern aboard the Theresa E. Connor at the Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic. Ern was very generous in sharing his knowledge with me about dory fishing. Ern treated me like a brother and we had a lot of fun working together and great yarns about our beloved NFLD. Please accept my sincere condolences on Ern's passing. It was an honour to have known such a great person and I will truly miss him. May God embrace you in comfort during this difficult time.
