Captain Plant saved my "bacon"
I was a cadet at the Canadian Coast Guard College, 1975 -1978. For reasons unexplained to me, some of the instructors at the CCGC decided I wasn't suitable material and attempted to kick me out. Fortunately for me, Hugh was having none of it. I'm now in my 39th year of my career and have always been grateful to Captain Plant for believing in me. Fair winds my friend.
