The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of H. Hugh Plant can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Tai Woo warriors

I had the pleasure of getting to know Hugh only after his retirement.  He joined my father as a Tai Woo warrior - a select group of ex-service men who lunched together every Tuesday to solve the world's problems.  Hugh was one of the strong threads that kept the group together and supported members as time took its toll.  He always had a twinkle in his eye and could remain engaged when hearing the same story for the umpteenth time!  I hope he's spinning yarns with the Tai Wooers who have gone before: Ned, Bill, Dick, Jesse, Bob ....

Best wishes to the Plante family from the Mowbray family.
